Roots Revealed was born from a simple but powerful desire — to experience the world as it really is.

For years, we traveled to new countries searching for something deeper than landmarks and photo stops. We visited the same famous places every tourist did, but we never felt truly connected. we didn’t want to just see a country — we wanted to live it.
To walk through its quiet streets, eat in its hidden restaurants, talk to locals, and understand their rhythm.

And so, the idea for Roots Revealed began.

It wasn’t created to sell tours. It was created to build experiences that feel human, real, and transformative — the kind that stay in your heart long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase.

Founder Story

Mirna Serguios is a university lecturer from Egypt and the co-founder of Roots Revealed.

Inspired by culture, learning, and meaningful human connection, she founded Roots Revealed to offer a slower, more intentional way of traveling grounded in local life, shared values, and the belief that the right people shape every journey.
